What is included in our mobile imaging trailer repair?

Mobile imaging trailer repair is the end-to-end mechanical and electrical service work that keeps a modular MRI, CT, or PET coach in clinical service: brake and axle service, tire replacement, DOT inspection, power and HVAC repair, hydraulic and lift systems, lead-shielded suite repair, electrical and ABS diagnostics, and even structural chassis repairs.

Every hour a mobile imaging coach is down is an hour of cancelled scans, displaced patients, and missed revenue.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Mobile Imaging Trailer Service & Repair

We dispatch field technicians for emergency repairs across the continental United States. Our techs travel with the components most likely to be the failure for your modality, so common issues can be resolved on the first visit.

Yes. We service modular MRI, CT, and PET trailers from any manufacturer, including coaches built by other vendors. Our technicians are trained on OEM diagnostic tools for the major imaging brands. If you bought your coach from a different builder, we can still cover preventive maintenance, emergency repair, DOT inspection, and overhaul.

Preventive maintenance (PM) is scheduled service tied to your scan volume and route mileage: quarterly inspections, annual DOT compliance, and component lifecycle tracking. PM stops failures before they hit clinical hours. Emergency repair is the on-site response when a coach has already failed: brake, hydraulic, electrical, climate, or imaging-integration issues. Both are covered on a Mansa service plan.

Yes. DOT annual inspection is included in our preventive maintenance plans and is also available as a standalone service. We handle brake, axle, ABS, hydraulic lift, and chassis welding inspections to federal commercial vehicle requirements. Documentation meets the standard expected by state and federal commercial vehicle enforcement.

Service plan pricing varies by modality (MRI 1.5T, MRI 3T, CT, PET), route mileage, and the depth of coverage you want. A coverage plan that includes preventive maintenance, DOT inspection, and emergency response is materially cheaper than the cost of a single missed clinical week. Request a service plan quote and we will scope it.

Yes. Field service is the default delivery model: our techs travel to the coach. We handle roadside trailer repair, on-site failure diagnostics, and on-coach component swaps anywhere in the continental US. Major overhauls (suite recommission, chassis refresh, end-of-life rebuild) happen at our home shop.

Mansa Mechanical services all three primary mobile imaging modalities: modular MRI (1.5T wide-bore and 3T high-field), mobile CT (8-slice and above), and mobile PET / PET-CT with radiopharmaceutical-handling environments. We service the trailer, the suite, the integration, and the chassis. Magnet and detector calibration stays with the OEM service rep, and we coordinate with them as needed.

We service mobile imaging trailers across all 48 contiguous United States. Field service is the default, with techs dispatched to your location. We do not currently service Alaska, Hawaii, or US territories.

For active emergency repair, call (833) 626-7263. For a preventive maintenance plan or overhaul scope, submit a service plan request with the platform, the route, and the coach inventory. We will scope coverage and route the request to the engineer who owns your modality.
