Mansa Mechanical refurbishes and rebuilds pre-owned mobile CT, PET, and MRI coaches, including their machines, to original OEM specification. Every used coach is torn down, inspected end-to-end, OEM certified.
A refurbished mobile imaging trailer is a pre-owned mobile CT, PET, or MRI coach that has been torn down, inspected, and rebuilt to OEM specification. Chassis, axles, brakes, suite walls, shielding, climate systems, and power are pulled, documented, and restored before any coach leaves our shop.
You get a faster route to revenue than a full custom ground-up build: a typical refurbished mobile imaging trailer ships in half the time. The price tag frees capital for the imaging hardware itself.

Mobile CT trailers from 16 slice to 128+ slice tuned for trauma centers, oncology routes, and outpatient rotations. Lead-shielded scan room, separated tech and patient zones, OEM detector integration.
PET coaches built around radiopharmaceutical handling, hot-lab integration, and decay-room workflow. Compliant shielding for tracer-handling environments.
Integrated cryogen management, RF cabin shielding, and active vibration isolation for stable image quality for any location.
Mobile mammography coaches built for screening drives, outreach routes, and outpatient rotations. Full-field 2D and 3D tomosynthesis imaging, lead-shielded exam room, private patient changing area, and OEM detector integration.
A refurbishment runs through a defined sequence. It covers inbound inspection, chassis and brake audit, suite teardown and shielding scan, component rebuild to OEM spec, power and HVAC recommission, imaging integration and QA, and certification with deployment. It is roughly half the timeline of a ground-up new build.
A non-certified used coach is sold as-is, with no inspection paperwork and no rebuild. A Mansa Mechanical refurbished mobile imaging trailer is fully torn down, restored to OEM specification, recertified with documentation. Used does not have to mean unknown.
Yes. We refurbish customer-owned coaches, not just coaches we sell. The same seven-stage refurbishment process applies: inbound inspection, chassis and brake audit, suite teardown, OEM-spec rebuild, power and HVAC recommission, imaging integration, and certification. Tell us the modality and the coach’s history when you submit a refurbishment request.
We rebuild all three primary mobile imaging modalities. Mobile CT (8-slice and above), mobile PET, and mobile MRI (1.5T). The teardown depth varies by platform. MRI refurbishments include vibration and acoustic isolation work; PET refurbishments include hot-lab and tracer-handling shielding verification.
A refurbished mobile imaging trailer makes sense when (1) your route and scan volumes are forecastable, (2) you need a coach faster than a ground-up new build, and (3) you want to free capital for the imaging hardware itself rather than the trailer fabrication. If your modality or route is custom, a new build may be the better fit. We can scope both during your initial request.
Yes. You receive full inspection documentation before purchase: chassis frame report, axle and brake audit, suite shell teardown findings, shielding scan results, and OEM service history pulled from the original equipment vendor. The coach you buy from us has a known floor because we have already torn it apart and rebuilt it.
Pricing depends on the modality, the source coach’s condition, and how much rebuild work is required to bring it to OEM spec. A refurbished mobile imaging trailer is typically a fraction of the cost of a new build at the trailer level, before the imaging hardware. Submit a request with the modality and the timeline and we will scope it.
In some cases, yes. A chassis built for one modality cannot always be retrofitted for another, but we can refurb a coach for the same modality on a different OEM platform, or rebuild the suite for a different generation of the same modality. Tell us what you want to land on and we will scope feasibility.
Submit a used coach request with the modality (CT, PET, MRI 1.5T), the timeline, and the route. Or call (216) 803-7643. We will match available inventory or scope a refurbishment of a coach you already own against your spec.
Tell us the platform, the timeline, and anything else you need.
We will get back to you with next steps.
